Western Union® has offered its customers money transfer for over 135 years. Each transfer can be tracked using a money transfer control number, ensuring that your money is available to be paid out quickly to your specified receiver.
 

Convenient

Money is available for collection just minutes1 after it is sent from a participating Travelex store. Western Union®’s advanced technology and its unique worldwide computer network ensures prompt payout in more in more than 200 countries and territories globally. You can also send direct to a bank account or to a mobile wallet (selected countries only) with no receiver fee. 
 

Fast

Senders can go to a select number of Travelex store locations to send money. Western Union® has over 489,000 locations3 world-wide for receivers to collect money, including Travelex locations.2 It is not necessary to have a bank account to send money and money is available in minutes.1
 

To send or receive money

To send and receive money, you can visit a participating Travelex store and fill out the appropriate Western Union® Money TransferTM form. Note that the send service is not available at all Travelex locations. Locate your nearest Travelex store.

To Send Money

To send money using Western Union® Money TransferSM, visit a participating store and give your Travelex Sales Consultant a completed “To Send Money” form. Ensure you have the funds you wish to send (including the service fee) and a valid Government Photo identification document.

The money transfer information is entered into Travelex’s system by your Travelex Sales Consultant.

Your Travelex Sales Consultant will give you a receipt with a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN).

Simply call the receiver to tell him/her the amount of money sent and the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) to complete your Western Union® Money TransferSM.

To Receive Money

To receive money using Western Union® Money TransferSM, visit a participating store and give your Travelex Sales Consultant a completed “To Receive Money” form. Indicate the country the money was sent from, the name of the sender, the MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) and the amount you are expecting.

Give your Travelex Sales Consultant the form and valid Government Photo identification document.

Your Travelex Sales Consultant will give you your money and a receipt.
